Urad dal type
We sell white urad dal only – urad with the black skin removed. We do not currently sell whole black urad. The photo in the buy section shows the current dal; grain size varies slightly between lots.
Bulk urad for batter makers, hotels and shops
Idli and dosa batter makers, hotels, tiffin centres and canteens use white urad every day. Grocery shops buy 30 kg bags and repack them. Fenugreek seeds, which also go into batter, are on our fenugreek page.

- Resale packs: 250 g to 15 kg.
Cleaning and dispatch
Every lot is cleaned on our machine and packed in our godown before dispatch.
Ordering and delivery
- Choose the grade and bag size in the buy section and add it to the cart.
- Pay by UPI – Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM or any UPI app. We do not offer cash on delivery.
- Enter the UTR number after paying. Your order details open on WhatsApp so we can confirm.
- Dispatch within 24 hours of confirming payment, with the transport or courier number shared on WhatsApp.
Wholesale bags travel by A1 Transport or MSS Transport within Tamil Nadu and Kerala, and by VRL Logistics to the rest of India. Transport charges are paid separately to the transport company and we confirm the route on WhatsApp before dispatch.
Resale packs go by ST Courier in Tamil Nadu and by Delhivery or DTDC elsewhere, at ₹50 per kg of total pack weight, shown at checkout. Business buyers can get a GST invoice by ticking “Buying for a business” at checkout and entering their GSTIN.
